Company Blogging Forum with Pippa Says

Thursday, 4 July 2013

Last week, myself and the gorgeous Pippa of Pippa Says (currently under refurb- come back soon!) headed to the next blogging forum in the Company Magazine series. As their avid fans will know (or in fact anyone who picks up one of their magazines), they are dedicated to their readership, making them one of the most popular fashion mags around today. It hits the nail on the head, with front line advice for their readers including stimulating content that ticks the box for the average 16-25 year olds (and what a dedicated readership we are!!). Having re-launched just over a year ago now, Company are (in my humble opinion) still heads and feet above the rest of the affordable fash mags out there (you'd be lucky, neigh, blessed to get a tweet back from Cosmo these days!). They are on the pulse of social media and with that in mind, are at the forefront of the digital generation- nice one guys!

So obviously, you can understand my delight at attending one of their prestigious blogging events including the top tips and secrets of the trade that everyone is tapping into, lead by the experts in the field. I literally had a heart attack when I saw this tweet...

Needless to say, Susie Bubble was amazing and oozed confidence (and certainly NOT arrogance- a pleasant quality to see in someone so prestigious in the blogsphere!). I saw her chilling with bloggers beforehand over this bubbly (GORGEOUS sparkling pink by JC Le Roux) and she was incredibly approachable - fantastic!

The event is always sublime but the real deal behind all the glam is getting to know the bloggers themselves (if anything, its a great chance to network- and network we did!). Pippa and I got chatting to JessPaige, Lucy (who made the cute picture below of everyone with their twitter handles!), Chelsey and Gioia - all great gals, check out their blogs!

I also managed to personally meet and get photos with :
Gem Fatale (beauty blogger extrodinare and company employee!)

and Rhiannon from Fashion Rocks My Socks...

As ever, we were given our goody bags and they were lovely as always, including samples from Halo make-up wipes, Batiste dry shampoo, a Filofax by Temperley London, and leave-in conditioner by Yuko.

But one of my favourite parts about the event is dressing up and so I did! Here's my look and how you can re-create it yourself...

My Look from Company Blogging Forum

As sequins are always an easy way to add the 'wow' factor to any outfit, I've compiled a mini-wishlist of my faves from Cow's latest sequin pieces online- check them out here!
